The point of our build, which may seem weird given the many unfinished renovations on our main house, was two-fold: I wanted to learn some carpentry skills from my very talented husband, who is a great teacher, and I wanted to use up some milled lumber from our bark-diseased spruce trees to complete a project I had been thinking about for about 5 years.
The result was a guesthouse for visitors & family members plus my confidence with power tools has sky-rocketed. Success!
