June 2016 Interior tongue and groove

We decided on country-style tongue and groove. The local hardware store was selling packages of seconds for about 50 cent/sq foot. I did the calculations on coverage with my nieces, and all three of us went to pick it up together.

Under the T&G is some raw lumber sheathing, spaced about 12 inches apart. The install of the interior finish was done 50% by me, 20% by friends and 30% by my husband. This was the end of June 2016, and the weather was hot, sticky and tiring.

The last week of June all the walls got primed and painted with some latex paint in a colour that was donated by a lady who sold me the styrofoam insulation for the rafters.
